Born in Bhagalpur, Bihar, and deeply rooted in Barahari Village, Goradih Block, Rimi Singh grew up in a farming environment where agriculture was more than an occupation—it was a way of life. Surrounded by nature, rural traditions, and strong family values, she developed a lifelong respect for farmers, the environment, and community development. Her upbringing continues to shape her vision of creating sustainable opportunities for rural India.
As the Founder of Sansar Green and one of the key visionaries behind Harit Sansar, Rimi Singh has played a significant role in building an organization dedicated to sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and farmer empowerment. While Rajeev Singh spent decades working in agriculture, landscaping, and environmental development, Rimi Singh consistently encouraged him to think beyond products and businesses and create a movement that could transform Indian agriculture.
When the concept of “Mitti Se Mandi” (Soil to Market) was first envisioned, Rimi Singh immediately recognized its potential to change farmers’ lives. She believed that every farmer deserved access not only to quality agricultural inputs but also to scientific knowledge, soil health management, sustainable farming practices, modern technology, value addition, and fair market opportunities. Her confidence, encouragement, and strategic thinking helped shape Mitti Se Mandi into the core philosophy of Sansar Green Mission Pvt. Ltd.
Rimi Singh strongly believes that agriculture is about much more than producing crops. It is about strengthening families, empowering women, protecting natural resources, improving rural livelihoods, and creating opportunities for future generations. These values continue to influence Sansar Green’s work in organic farming, biofertilizers, sustainable agriculture, climate-smart farming, rural entrepreneurship, and agricultural innovation.
Her vision also became the foundation of Harit Sansar, a people-led environmental movement established to promote tree plantation, biodiversity conservation, climate action, environmental awareness, and community participation. She believes that protecting nature begins at home and encourages women, children, educational institutions, and families to become active partners in building a greener India.
Known for her calm leadership, thoughtful decision-making, and commitment to social development, Rimi Singh believes that true leadership is measured not by recognition but by the positive impact created in people’s lives. She continues to guide initiatives that combine sustainability, education, agriculture, environmental awareness, and community engagement.
Together, Rajeev Singh and Rimi Singh share a common vision—to establish Mitti Se Mandi as India’s leading Soil to Market agricultural ecosystem while making Harit Sansar one of the country’s largest citizen-led green movements.
